The video game industry, renowned for its captivating experiences, is now placing an increased emphasis on mental health. Recognizing the significance of mental well-being, both for players and the teams behind the games, the industry has united to support an innovative initiative known as #LevelUpMentalHealth. In partnership with Safe In Our World, a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting mental health awareness within the gaming community, game developers and companies are actively working towards implementing and advocating for positive mental health support practices among their staff.
This industry-wide effort aims to prioritise the mental health of not only the players but also the creative minds behind the virtual worlds we enjoy. By collaborating with Safe In Our World, we are taking a proactive approach to address the unique challenges and pressures faced by game developers, designers, and other professionals in the field. Together, we are striving to raise awareness of these challenges and create a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes mental well-being.
