The Lead Character Artist is in guiding, creating, and directing art in a multitude of areas, through inspiring and enabling their team to create artwork as efficiently as possible to an exceptional standard and vision as defined by the Art Director.
Manage a team of 5-6 people through development of multiplayer and other online features. The ideal candidate will understand a wide array of online concepts including client/server architecture, replication, security, latency, and synchronization to guide product owners with technical recommendations for implementing new online features.
Versatile generalist with a wealth of experience in the games industry needed to manage small teams of 4-6 programmers, ensuring focus on short term goals as well as mentorship and career planning in the long term. Use your ability to write code and multiply your individual talents by working through your team. Leads are usually focused on a specific scrum or area of specialization, and collaborate with the Technical Directors to set policy and vision for the team.
