Cloud Imperium Games are developing the hugely ambitious and exciting Star Citizen universe which will include both MMO and single player experiences. Star Citizen already has a reputation for amazing visuals as shown by their recent GDC 2015 presentation, check out this demonstration here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkAaLd0FdK0#t=49
At PAX East in Boston the damage model drew a lot of attention from the media as multiple sites showcased the video released by the Star Citizen team at PAX East. “Blowing up Star Citizen’s space ships never looked so good,” read the headline from Eurogamer. Wesley Yin-Poole went on, “Cloud Imperium Games released a video showing off the space game’s new damage model, and it looks more detailed than any we’ve seen.”
“Star Citizen will look amazing, even when your ship doesn’t,” exclaimed South Africa’s G3AR online magazine. Timothy Biggar wrote, “Quite frankly, we’re not sure there is a better looking game. Heck, even ship damage is noticeably detailed and built around a lot of thought and design. It’s going to be one heck of a graphical demonstration. Perhaps it’s the new Crysis – the game to test your graphics card’s mettle.” Source https://cloudimperiumgames.com/news/202-PRESS-ROUNDUP-March-20-PAX-East-SXSW-And-More.
