Team Summary:

Demonware's Products department is responsible for delivering bundled suites of service for game studios. We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join the team which works on designing, building and running our Live Operations Tooling platform. This product provides essential pre and post release services to the game developers, producers, business partners and executive customers. Services include Content updates, A/B testing, executive reporting and in-game events.

The Role:

As our new Engineering Manager you will actively work with Activision Game Studios (Treyarch, Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software) and Central Technology teams to develop and promote these core products. You will be responsible for leading the vision of these core products to support the long term strategy of world leading franchises such as Call of Duty.


• Management of goals, performance, and career advancement for direct reports in a cross functional team (UI,UX,Dev). Holding reports accountable to their expected contribution for their level.
• Provide technical direction and strategy for our products. Understand the big picture and how to get there.
• Liaise with business partners and game studios on product direction and scope. Ensure that all requirements are met while seeking out new opportunities to develop the product/platform.
• Collaborate with the project/product manager to map out and deliver team objectives and priorities for the year based on company goals and studios' requirements
• Ensure cross company collaboration with the team.
• Ensure the software produced by the team achieves the quality bar we expect for our products
• Liaise with business partners and game studios on product direction and scope. Ensure that all requirements are met while seeking out new opportunities to develop the product/platform.

• 7+ years of experience in similar engineering management role
• Experience developing and delivering online services and tooling
• Demonstrated customer management experiencing
• Previous experience building and leading high-performing software development teams.
• Experience in Django, Python and React. You'll also have the opportunity to work with Memcached, Redis, Celery, Docker, D3.js
• Expertise in effective product management, software development methodologies, and industry best practices
