QA Analyst, Mobile - King SDK
Are you a curious QA Analyst or Tester with a creative way of solving problems? Do you put quality first and have a peculiar talent in finding anomalies?
Would you like to continue your saga in a core technology team which develops the SDK that powers all of the King games, running on more than 285+ million devices? Tasty!
The purpose? Developing our Unified Platform to help the King organization build games in a super-easy way on a global level! Sounds like a treat?
Your role within our Kingdom
Your new team consists of 30 sweet Kingsters (developers, tech writers, build engineers, POs, QAs) and as our shiny new QA Analyst you'll get to dig in to Exploratory Testing throughout the whole development lifecycle.
This role ranges from performing Exploratory Testing on user stories, (as well as regression any system integration testing) actively improving test design & test coverage, to sharing technical knowledge/potentially general bugs/improvement ideas with the rest of your team.
Being part of a fluid, techy and inclusive environment means that together we celebrate releases, arrange knowledge sharing sessions (Fika & Learn!) and play games (of course). Oh, and since SDK is the ruling champions of the internal Robot building challenge\", you'll need to be a solid Lego-builder. No pressure."
Skills to create thrills
Are you passionate about games and keen to work in a flexible and fluid environment where your role will evolve over time? Are you good at connecting the dots both with tech and humans, having an inclusive mind-set?
* Experience with some of the following areas: Exploratory testing, functional testing, domain testing, risk testing, A/B testing
* Experience in working with mobile devices on different platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, etc.)
* 2+ years of software testing experience in an agile environment
Tasty bonus skills
* Exposure to Testing Charters & Session Based Test Management is an advantage
* We know that you are in to games on some level (casual, console, board-games, Uno etc.) and if you also have experience working in the online gaming industry, we'd sure like to hear your story!
A great saga needs all sorts of heroes
Making games is fun! Especially when you do it with people who share the same idea of what makes a good workplace, great. We design games for everyone, no matter where they are or who they are, and we employ all sorts of people from all kinds of backgrounds to bring them to life. Truth is, we simply can't expect diversity in our players and originality in our games without first nurturing it in our people. A great saga needs all sorts of heroes. And that's it.
We're Seriously Playful
We believe that great gaming experiences happen when they are developed by working in small, autonomous creative teams that control the whole process - from idea to amazing products. Our close connection with the player community gets us instant feedback and enables us to deliver truly magical moments. We value your free time and your need to refuel, relax and find inspiration - by playing games with your colleagues, being at home with your family or going to the gym or out for a run. That's how we stay creative!
