For our European office we are looking for a Brand Manager who will help to drive European brand efforts. The BM will be the knowledge base for our product(s) and will be responsible to plan, manage and execute the overall successful business strategy for our product(s). The BM will also conduct strategic plans and reports for the management team and work closely with EU and US teams.
Work with EU and US marketing teams to plan and develop branding communications, advertising and promotional programs to enhance sales of the company's product(s). This will include consulting with management and working directly with members of product development, legal, finance, sales and marketing in strategic planning, creative execution and media planning.
Conduct and analyse market research data to define product positioning, as well as monitor competitive activity and identify consumer needs.
Identify key-success factors for the game, build its final positioning and benchmark your analysis against consumer research studies.
Assist with development of a communication strategy of the game (packaging, point of purchase, advertising, online) with the established North American and European marketing and PR teams.
Manage the development of game assets (trailers, demos, screenshots) and ensure that assets are translated to the highest possible standard.
Conduct post-launch sales reviews and re-promotion strategies to ensure products reach or exceed targets, including profit and loss analysis.
Work to ensure all marketing materials, assets, and media are localized for each core market.
BA in marketing or business.
3+ years of experience working within brand management, preferable AAA online games.
Good experience in the European games market/ industry and understanding of marketing, sales, PR and community.
Analytical and strategic approach but still be innovative and creative.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English. A second language is a plus.
Ability to build brands, create and uphold product positioning, set goals and objectives with methods to measure success and failures is crucial.
Must have strong (self-) management skills and be highly organized.
Experience of budget planning and management.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information, work well with others and handle a high-pressure.
Very good knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint.
Requires frequent travel within Europe and to the USA.
