The Director of Sales Planning and Analysis will collaborate globally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Development to drive greenlight forecasting, revenue strategy, budget reconciliation and reporting consistency.  The right person for this role will have leadership skills, superior communication and collaboration expertise, extensive industry knowledge, financial background and experience in presenting to executive leadership. 


  • Help drive profitability in all areas of the business
  • Collaborate globally and cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of all reporting and analysis related to physical and digital video game sales including:
    • Quarterly and annual catalog and new release SKU level product forecasts for business planning
    • Weekly product level unit and gross sales pacing and trending updates to budget
    • Creation of new product greenlight forecasts supported by clear and concise methodology summaries
    • Distribution of regular pre-release to post-launch sales trends with revised expectations in executive summaries
    • Extensive ad-hoc analysis requests
  • Manage team of analysts who collaborate across multiple functional disciplines including Business Intelligence, Finance and Sales/Marketing
  • Work with sales leadership team to develop, budget and track channel promotional cadence for revenue optimization
  • Coordinate with Business Intelligence group to develop tools and dashboards to create operational efficiencies and visualizations for executive snapshots
  • Work with SVP’s of Sales and Marketing to budget and report on cost center expenditures, including project level marketing budget reconciliations
  • Manage 3rd party industry data relationships and ensure timely communication of industry updates to companywide stakeholders
  • Prepare and represent sales figures in executive meetings with comprehensive accounting for current actuals and projections


  • 5+ years in a similar role
  • Experience communicating and presenting to executive management
  • Experience in data/business analysis and reporting in technology-oriented companies
  • Superior intellectual, quantitative analysis, and communication capabilities
  • Expert working knowledge of advanced Excel features
  • Experience in building, managing and motivating an efficient team
  • Willingness to take on a hands-on approach to data analysis
  • Ability to work in a time sensitive environment with tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Business or Economics
  • Cover Letter Required

Desired Skills:

  • A passion and strong understanding of video games and the video game industry a plus
  • Operational understanding of Oracle, OBIEE and/or Tableau
