Art Director - Advertising
We are looking for a talented Art Director to join our internal advertising agency, the Brand Creative Studio, a part of King's wider Marketing team.
Your role within our Kingdom
As an Art Director in the campaign team, you'll work on cross-departmental campaigns to support our existing games, and new game launches.
With several years experience working at an advertising or marketing agency, you're passionate about crafting outstanding creative concepts, creating ideas with impact, and exploring innovative new ways to connect with consumers.
You have a strong strategic head, with the ability to analyse a brief, delve into consumer insights and lead a team to ensure all assets we create remain true to brief.
We're looking for a team-player that is comfortable leading campaign-specific multi-disciplinary project groups and work alongside artists in Stockholm, London and Barcelona.
Skills to create thrills
You have several years of experience of working within advertising, clients and campaigns in a similar role.
Deep understanding of creative communication/marketing and a solid sense of quality and commercial messaging.
A broad experience of leading creative projects and you are comfortable heading up projects that include both graphic design and video production, working with teams of between 4 and 10 people.
You are able to set a campaign look and feel, and develop style guides to ensure that translates across all outputs.
You have a strong sense of style and ensure creative height and alignment within a campaign and make sure everyone in the team work towards the same vision.
You're able to analyse campaign objectives, strategies and target groups in order to fully understand the brief and be able to guide the project group.
You're adept at writing campaign frameworks, defining messaging hierarchy and phasing strategy (if such is required within the campaign) together with the Campaign Manager and the Copywriter.
If a campaign already has a big idea and strategy developed by an external agency, you'll guide the team to ensure this is followed throughout the project.
You take an interest in cultural trends, channel standards and innovation relevant to the advertising field and inspire the broader team to think beyond what's asked.
Great communication skills - you're able provide clear direction to design teams and to sell through concepts and executions both visually and verbally to individuals at all levels of the company.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Knowledge of JIRA, MS Office, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
Ability to sketch / scamp visuals
