As Community Content Editor at Creative Assembly, your mission is to create engaging and interesting content across many different community platforms.
* Please include a cover letter with your application*
From TotalWar.com itself to the Total War blog to the mailing list and more, this is your chance to put your own stamp on the community content and create and source a schedule from scratch. You'll be producing, sourcing and commissioning both written and visual content, and you can take your pick from opportunities.
You'll be seeking out and creating the most engaging, interesting and relevant content and ensuring that it gets in front of our community on the best possible platform, which could be the game launcher, the wiki, 'Total War as a Service' platforms or the brand website.
You'll be working with the outward-facing Social Media Manager to coordinate content and deliver a responsive strategy for engaging the audience, and working to amplify whatever the current hot topic is within the community. You'll also be the point of contact on our Total War forums and Steam forums, working with the community to ensure that they get all the information as needed and building a relationship with them.
Strengths in writing, editing, scheduling and knowledge of web content across a broad spectrum will round out a personable and fearless candidate.
As the Community Content Editor, you will be responsible for updating the blog, launcher, forums and Steam forums. You'll be taking editorial ownership of TotalWar.com and the content plans, as well as Total War Access and the free content drops and plans around it. You'll be the main voice on the forums and Steam, active in many threads with a strong idea of community sentiment. Take editorial ownership of the Total War blog, creating a content calendar for it.
You'll be creating and commissioning content for various projects, sourcing content where possible, and be responsible for a full schedule of content across TotalWar.com and Access.Ultimately, you'll always be looking for new opportunities and projects.
