OVERVIEW

How would you like to be part of the team that builds the premier mobile eSports platform for franchises such as Street Fighter, Mega Man or other top Capcom titles? We are looking for someone to  help build out the platform and support live operations across multiple titles. RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will:

  • Work with the backend Ruby team in the creation of a leading edge eSports platform
  • Partner with the Lead Ruby programmer – Platform, during all phases of the development cycle and implementation of the platform across multiple titles

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 3+ years of software development, specializing in backend development
  • 2 years with ruby (1-2 years with rails)
  • Further experience with web languages (i.e. javascript, python, java)
  • Experience building systems with reliability, high-availability, disaster recovery, product design
  • Experience with persistent stores (relational, nosql)
  • Familiar with AWS (cloudformation, rds, beanstalk, elasticcache, iam, s3)
  • A post-secondary degree in a related field, such as Computer Science
  • Ability to juggle multiple concurrent priorities, both for your own tasks and those delegated to others
  • Demonstrate dedication, adaptability & accountability in your work and areas of responsibility
  • Experience in software engineering best practices, bug tracking, MS Office (Word, Excel)
