This is an opportunity for a proven world class Game System Designer to make their mark on our new undisclosed IP contributing to creation of genre-defining games and working with the industry's top developers.
As a Game Systems Designer, you will work in the System Design team to design and implement deep, engaging, elegant and integrated gameplay systems that guide and support the gameplay experience.
You will work alongside the Core and Level designers, and work closely with gameplay code to fully realise your designs within the game. Supporting the Lead Systems designer, you will critique and reinforce the design of the game. You will bring excellent communication skills and creativity to the project. A high level of technical skills is critical to the success of this role.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience
- At least 3 shipped titles in a Systems Design Role on a AAA title
- Scripting/coding experience
- Ability to provide constructive and easy-to-understand feedback to any team member
- A passion for games and user-centred design
- Good technical background
- Very good communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Experience in a range of design roles
- Great attention to detail
