Senior Tools Developer - Call of Duty Mobile
Stockholm, Sweden - Full relocation and VISA sponsorship
We are looking for an experienced Developer to join our new Shooter project in Stockholm.
In collaboration with Activision Blizzard, we are adapting one of the most iconic game franchises of all-time: Call of Duty. The aim is to create a Call of Duty experience on mobile, while also breaking new ground for mobile and redefining the genre. The approach and ambition is to be fresh, social, and highly accessible, while providing a very authentic game experience. You will prototype extensively, have the freedom to think outside the box, and be encouraged to stretch your expertise in ways to create surprising results.
Your role within our Kingdom
The role involves communication with the game team and making sure that the architecture can handle their current and future needs gracefully.
As a developer you have an interest in understanding the whole tech stack, you have good analytical capabilities, you write well-structured code and are comfortable working on complicated code base. As you will be working on our Game Engine Editor, a great understanding of usability, design and front end development is required. We offer you the chance to work in an agile environment where frequent, fast-paced releases mean you'll see the impact of your work almost immediately. You are passionate about system and tool development, new technologies, the internet and games in particular.
Take technical and usability responsibility for the Game Engine Tools:
* Architect, design, implement and test editor features
* Maintain and optimize new and existing editor features
* Produce high quality and well-structured code
Skills to create thrills
* Proven experience in development of user centric tools
* Experience in developing for Windows and Mac OS
* Excellent C# knowledge
* Excellent C++ knowledge
* Great UI/UX understanding
* Happy to work in an agile development environment
* Excellent communicator in English
* Experience with Unity tool development
* Experience with GitHub version control
* Experience with real time rendering
* Great Python / PySide /PyQt knowledge
* Experience in game engine development
* Experience in working with memory / performance critical applications
* Experience from embedded, concurrent or high performance systems
