Senior Business Development Manager – Gaming (US Market)

    Job Description

    We’re excited to be working with a modern digital marketing company specializing in pay-to-play and free-to-play games on PC and console. Using their advanced in-house technology, they’ve worked closely with big names to generate big sales and bring in loyal fans, including Wargaming and Innogames.

    They’ve embraced smart ways to tackle the challenges associated with the steadily evolving new media landscape, and are now looking for a Senior Business Development Manager with experience and connections with the US market to join them in their Berlin-based office.

    You’ll take full responsibility to implement the business development strategy for advertising in the US market, and work closely with the YouTube influencer marketing team. With your existing network, you’ll acquire RFPs, create proposals and secure advertising budgets for the release of major upcoming AAA games.

    Although based in Berlin, the company are prepared to work with someone who lives / wants to live on the West coast of America. 

    Requirements:

    • Three+ years in business development in an advertising environment within the US gaming industry;
    • Have an excellent network within the US game publisher and agency landscape
    • Strong communication and negotiating skills;
    • You’ll have an analytical mind, and combine your problem solving capabilities with creativity;
    • Fluent in English, additional languages, such as German or Chinese, are a plus.
