Jagex Games Studio is looking for an outstanding IT Technician to join our expanding Desktop Support Team.
Working within our experienced IT department, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the IT and online operations on a daily basis, delivering first line IT support via our in-house ticketing system. This role would best suit a support engineer with a proven ability to work under pressure, who is very diligent and a great team player!

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitoring and actioning the desktop support ticketing queue system
Maintaining desktop hardware and software to agreed configurations
Providing technical support to users, monitoring and reporting on desktop performance
Helping to maintain a highly secure IT infrastructure consistent with company standards and policies
Maintaining the fixed asset inventory of all computer-related equipment
Ensuring proper licensing for software is installed on desktops and laptops and report any deviations
Experience of troubleshooting hardware and software problems within a business
Strong experience with Microsoft Server 2012, Exchange 2010, AD, SCCM systems, WSUS
Proven knowledge of maintaining Windows 7 and 8.1 systems
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals: IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, Remote Desktop Services
Highly organised, able to prioritise work load effectively
Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
Able to multi task and work well under pressure
Excellent customer service skills and experience
Familiarity with Mac, Linux
Degree level education or equivalent experience
Microsoft Certified Professional
