Jagex Games Studio is looking for a results-oriented, innovative User Acquisition Manager to support our flagship titles as a key member of our Digital Marketing team.
You will be dedicated to growing our user base of players with paid user acquisition channels and will work closely with Product, Analytics and Creative Services teams in an agile environment. You will have a chance to make a direct impact on our games success, where paid user acquisition supports profitable growth.
Whether the goal of a digital marketing campaign is to drive downloads on desktop or installs on mobile, further engagement, or reconnect with lapsed players, the digital marketing team is responsible for making it happen. You’ll be responsible for finding new and cost-effective ways to attract users, while continuously optimizing campaigns and the effectiveness of the media mix strategy.
The person hired for this role is highly experienced in structuring ambiguous problems, applying sound business judgment, and communicating complex issues effectively. Since opportunities to improve media performance are not always obvious, it is critical for this role that you are a self-starter and extremely curious and creative in how you analyze and leverage insights from multiple data sources.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive growth of our active player numbers through the design and execution of targeted user acquisition campaigns
Help prepare proposals for marketing campaigns, promotional activities and undertake market research
Plan, manage and execute performance-based user acquisition across various advertising channels
Optimize targeting, creatives, marketing messages, marketing spend, bids and budget allocation
Plan, execute and report on A/B tests to optimize acquisition funnel, creative performance and campaigns ROI
Analyze data and optimize campaign performance based on LTV and ROI evaluation
Monitor, optimize, and report on campaign performance on a regular cadence and provide actionable insights
Ensure targets related to the planning and execution of ad buys, campaign implementation, testing, and results are attained
Build strong relationships with internal product, brand marketing, creative, and analytics teams
Communicate and maintain tracking reports and schedules
Stay up to date on latest digital marketing and user acquisition trends and emerging platforms
Identify new partner, platform, and optimization opportunities to drive campaign performance
Experience managing user acquisition campaigns across desktop and mobile applications with a strong track record of measurable results utilizing video, display, DSPs and RTBs with demonstrated understanding of CPA, CPM, CPC, ARPU and LTV.
Solid understanding of gaming analytics, such as acquisition and engagement funnel KPIs
Hands-on experience buying media on Facebook and Google
Strong analytical skills, experience manipulating and using large datasets
Deep familiarity with ad tech and tracking space
Strong relationship and communication skills
Versatility to thrive in a cross-functional environment while juggling multiple responsibilities
Knowledge of digital gaming and the gaming industry required
Ability to execute A/B tests with paid UA channels
Ability to take ownership of projects
Comfortable working with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Aptitude to work outside of your comfort zone and get things done quickly.
Must be self-motivated and results oriented.
Degree in marketing/finance or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical skills and expert with Excel functions, able to manipulate large datasets
Organized and disciplined
A great mix of creative and analytical thinking
The ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive and to handle uncertainty, ambiguity and the challenge of quickly evolving goals
Experience of analytics tracking tools like Google Analytics
Experience of DCM and Google Tag Manager
Excellent written and verbal communication
