The Challenge Ahead:

 

EA are looking for a Marketing Reporting Program Manager who has experience designing, executing and managing complex and multi-faceted marketing reporting programs.
 

What a Marketing Reporting Program Manager does at EA:

 

  • Supporting and executing reporting projects and programs with an agile approach, focused on quick turnarounds and then iterating further as needed.
  • Understand scope of reporting requirements and become subject matter expert for implementation/solutions:
    • Develop, plan and perform reviews that independently evaluate the adequacy, comprehensiveness and effectiveness of reporting requirements and business needs
    • Identify deficiencies and recommend solutions to complex issues
    • Ensure deficiencies are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
    • Anticipate changes in the internal and external environment and revise processes to support these changes
  • Manage successful reporting projects in a highly dynamic and enterprise environment:
    • Clearly document plans for executing on reporting requirements
    • Write reports or presentations that clearly articulate the next steps/milestones for report development activities
    • Communicate these reports to key stakeholders across the company
    • Develop effective working relationships with team members while distinguishing self as a leader
  • Proficiency with multiple advanced marketing and reporting tools and data sets and the ability to:
    • Lead or assist in addressing reporting/data or platform issues by interfacing with stakeholders, investigating root causes, and implementing scalable and extensible solutions
    • Provide stakeholders with guidance during risk assessment processes
    • Run queries against internally and externally hosted databases to generate reporting extracts
    • Execute (such as creating dashboards, reports, leveraging APIs) on determined reporting requirements utilizing multiple data sets and reporting platforms
    • Own data quality within reporting systems and ensure processes to support and maintain data quality are current and up to date
    • Own and manage data ingestion processes for internal and external tools  
    • Assist with the development of training materials and other documentation

 

The next great EA Marketing Reporting Program Manager also needs:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, Computer Science, or other relevant area
  • Experience in Project, Program, or Product Management in a reporting specialization
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently, self-starter and highly motivated to work in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Ability to operate in a complex and dynamic environment, seeking out solutions and looping in stakeholders or other owners when appropriate
  • Multi-task and meet deadlines despite competing priorities
  • Strong collaboration skills that span across multiple organizational levels
  • Detail and task oriented
  • Polished written, presentation and oral communication skills
  • Advanced competency in Excel, Visio, Project, and Access
  • Experience with overseeing projects/work flow across a global institution
  • Reporting and visualization tool super user (Datorama, Tableau, Domo)
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with marketing platforms and tools (Facebook, DoubleClick, Kenshoo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Responsys, ExactTarget, etc.)
