The Challenge Ahead:


Electronic Arts are hiring a Sales Support Manager to be based in our Guildford (Surrey) office. You will closely support the Commercial Team on Key Title campaign and promotional activations. You have a key role in ensuring that all POS and retail digital assets that support our retail campaigns are provided to retail on time. You’ll support the Account Management team in managing local Trade Marketing budgets - a strong level of commercial awareness is required to execute all activity on budget and deliver an appropriate return on investment.

What a Sales Support Manager does at EA:


Support Account Management team on Key Title campaign activations:

  • Work on customer prioritisation and ROI optimisation for PPF and local TM budgets
  • Provide support for retailer specific campaigns that drive Key Title visibility in store, online, Social and CRM campaigns.
  • Provide pre-order and launch activation reports / post mortems
  • Drive sales tools optimisation initiatives and retail execution improvements
  • Best practice sharing with Sales & Marketing team
  • Raise and process local PPF and TM EPO’s and invoices

Support Account Management team on promotional activation:

  • Ownership of the local promotions process including documenting and distributing approved activity plans
  • Provide key insights into future promotional activities based on past performance
  • Commercially evaluate promotional activity

Support Account Management team on Business Planning:

  • Provide retailer dashboard and performance reports
  • Align with Demand planning on Retailer Business Plan forecasts
  • Support Account Management team on creation of retail Business Reviews

Support Atlas POS production and distribution on time and within budget:

  • Participate in regular ITMT calls and meetings
  • Collate local POS order quantities
  • Enter orders via online system in three steps
  • Coordinate asset localisation approvals
  • Ensure retailer delivery addresses for POS are current and correct

Manage non-Atlas asset production on time and within budget:

  • Manage local service providers
  • Provide base assets from Atlas team
  • Ensure all assets developed are fully approved
  • Accurately forecast and track budget, ensure within budget for year
  • Raise and process all local EPO’s and invoices

Support Account Management team on permanent in-store space and Shop in Shop at retail:

  • Manage local service providers
  • Manage development, purchase and implementation of shop in shop tools
  • Coordination with Account Management team and Atlas team
  • Manage ongoing campaign planning based on promotions and Key Title releases
  • Manage maintenance and upkeep of permanent fixtures

Manage local salesforce and retail compliance agencies:

  • Manage local service providers
  • Coordinate visits and activities with Account Management team
  • Provide activity reports to Account Management team
  • Accurately forecast and track budget, ensure within budget for year
  • Raise and process all EPO’s and invoices

Retailer meetings and events:

  • Support Account Management team on creation of Sales and Key Title presentations
  • Provide documents and printed materials for sales teams e.g. one pagers / order forms
  • Manage retailer surveys e.g. key learnings on consumer behaviour, digital understanding
  • Coordination with other teams e.g. Product Marketing, Digital champions

Retailer staff training programs:

  • Support Account Management team on creation of training material, presentations, training of EA trainer, manage coordination / logistics


The next great EA Sales Support Manager also needs:


  • Graduate calibre or equivalent required
  • Experience in a relevant role is essential, ideally within Video Games, Entertainment or FMCG
  • Demonstration of strong commercial awareness and judgment
  • Strong analytical, verbal and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, including advanced Excel
  • Agency and budget management experience
  • Knowledge of category, shopper and consumer data sources desirable
  • An ability to think quickly and prioritise is essential
  • A team player, comfortable working across several functions
  • Can adapt to a fast-changing landscape and keep up to date with the latest industry trends
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
