An Executive Producer at Capcom Vancouver is an experienced game developer and a strong team leader that can drive a vision to completion while ensuring that it meets quality and schedule requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Successfully deliver high quality F2P gaming services on time and on budget by managing all facets of production and post launch live operations including: feature prioritization, risk and schedule management, reviews, and approvals
  • Work with developers to ensure development contracts accurately reflect the product requirements, scope, schedule, and budget up until initial launch and during live operations
  • As the primary point of contact for the team, maintain alignment on goals and deliverables through excellent communication
  • Be capable of managing the production of several releases concurrently at various stages of development
  • Provide leadership and mentor other members of the production team by providing best practices, standardized processes, and shared learnings
  • Be capable of providing solutions to complex development challenges to keep projects on track
  • Provide feedback on the game design and feature set based on a thorough understanding of F2P games and competitor best practices
  • Provide leadership and mentor other members of the production team by providing best practices, standardized processes, and shared learnings
  • Collaborate with game team to develop features that are fun to play and monetize well
  • Track and test key performance indicators (KPI’s) using our data driven analytics platform.
  • Coordinates with resources of multiple disciplines throughout the team to aid in the successful completion of assigned tasks.
  • Understands the product vision and can clearly communicate it to others.
  • Maintains current knowledge of competitor products. Help identify target markets and competitive products that guide the design and development goals.
  • Develop and be accountable for the vision of the game, and lead a mixed discipline team through its production
  • Assists feature teams in game development from concept to release
  • Monitor the game performance and assist in maintaining a product update road-map for the game

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 -7 years’ experience in casual or core game development ideally with a focus on F2P games
  • Experience with shipped titles
  • Proven ability to lead and influence multi-disciplinary development teams
  • Excellent knowledge of games and of the marketplace
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; people know what you want!
  • Strong game deconstruction and product feedback skills.
  • Excellent team work skills
  • Passport holder able to travel internationally
  • Live and breathe games
