Jagex Games Studio is looking for a Junior Brand Manager to join the tribe. The successful candidate will work closely with the Brand Director, Senior Brand Manager, Marketing and Publishing teams.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and will work with cross-functional teams to help define and build positioning and marketing strategies for Jagex’s award-winning, signature games.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the customer segmentation analysis and other market analysis to develop brand plan insights.
Support the growth forecast of the brand via tangible and intangible equity-building strategies built on a strong understanding of our players and communities
Support the brand planning process to identify and articulate the market opportunity and positioning strategy – Build the Brand.
Develop and write product positioning documents and strategies, working closely with all stakeholders including senior management and executives to ensure consistency and buy-in
Partner with production stakeholders to drive creative direction toward the customer base growth opportunities – Deliver the Brand.
Support tactical marketing at an international level, where all possible outputs are considered.
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, ensuring compliance and consistency.
Ensuring that the vision and strategy is translated across all communications, materials and promotions. Be a specialist on Jagex’ and the competitors’ products within the category.
Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
Support product launches including working with marketing and communications teams, executives, and other product management team members.
Brand management, marketing or PR experience within the gaming sector (ideally within F2P or mobile sector)
Strong interest in learning about our players, communities and products.
Solid commercial acumen, strategic thinking and analytical ability.
Ability to build and maintain strong cross functional relationships.
The ability to understand and apply research information to future strategies.
Ability to act with pace, creatively challenging through true passion for the Brand and Industry.
Strong problem solving skills and excellent organization skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience and a strong affinity for games.
Degree level education or equivalent, preferably in Marketing or Business Strategy.
