Jagex Games Studio is seeking an Events Executive to support the Senior Events Manager in realising all aspects our internal and external events.


With practical first-hand experience in the field, the ideal candidate will be passionate about producing both corporate and consumer-focused events and promotions, such as community and esports events, and have the perfect mix of big-idea creative thinking and brilliant organisational abilities.


The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Events Manager in the execution of all internal and external events, expos and promotions, logistics, and other duties as needed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Event research, venue and talent selection and liaison, pre-production planning with internal stakeholders
Creative production of event materials, including branding and merchandise
Assist with contracts with third party suppliers, including venue facilities, vendors, talent
Logistical delivery and execution of events, including budget, travel and accommodation management
To attend and stage manage events, including talent and staff liaison, public announcements and event health and safety issues
To work as part of an event project team at large scale events across the UK and internationally, which may involve working out of office hours eg evenings, weekends and Public Holidays


Essential Requirements:
Recognised qualification in the field of event management, public relations, marketing, sports management, and/or experience in a relevant role
Fluent English written and spoken communication skills essential
Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects at once while adhering to deadlines
Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills needed.Must have proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Capable of meeting deadlines and prioritize tasks
Works well under pressure with a professional attitude
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work within a team
Good understanding of broader entertainment industry: games, music, and movies, etc.
Ability to think strategically and effectively present new ideas


Desired Requirements:
Experience in organising consumer-facing gaming and/or esports events is a plus
