Jagex Games Studio is looking for an Old School Game Client Engine Developer. You will be responsible for working in the engine team within our Old School RuneScape team to create an excellent player experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Writing new game features to support the OldSchool RuneScape content teams
Researching, innovating and developing new game engine technology
Contribute to enhancements in the game client to improve players’ experience
Professional experience using Java
An understanding of Oldschool RuneScape game features and what the players like
Assist in the management of projects to enhance the capabilities of the game client
Experience with gameplay programming, user interfaces and client/server applications
Relevant qualification at degree level or equivalent experience
Experience of working on networked and MMO games
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Perl or similar
Game industry experience
