Jagex Games Studio is looking for a Head of Digital Marketing to join the tribe.The successful candidate will be responsible for all paid media, performance marketing and direct marketing activity for all products across the Jagex studio.


This is a central and pivotal role in campaign execution. We will expect the successful appicant to know how to seed and combine campaigns together across channels to drive high value. You will be relentless at measuring the impact your team makes via a range of data sources, and you will be focused on continually improving the cost per acquisition, ROI and engagement levels achieved through digital marketing.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Direction and execution of all digital marketing at Jagex.
Ownership and management of the digital marketing team which includes performance marketing, CRM, Email Marketing and other performance marketing channels as required.
Working with stake holders to deliver industry-leading campaign executions across all titles, specialising in free to play content campaigns but you will also drive broadcast campaign for new customers
You will understand the media landscape in great depth, have partners and relationships you can access.
Your role will include all paid media and will require a large amount of testing to get the optimal results
You will understand media planning, and media mix optimisation as well as advanced statistical modelling techniques. You will have a nuanced and evolved view on attribution.
A strategic thinker with well-established team and leadership capabilities.
A team player who works strongly with Brand Marketing to connect evergreen marketing with overarching brand positioning.
Defining campaign approach and direction, as well as driving results of those campaigns.
Financial management and marketing spend tracking; you should have previous PnL experience.
Demonstrate value creation that your team brings to the company
Presenting results, strategy and planning to broader teams.

Essential Skills:

Experience in the games industry, with full understanding of free to play game lifecycle marketing and also new game launch marketing
High value budget management experience
Agency briefings and management
Pro-active approach to collaborative working
Team management experience with emphasis on training and team growth.
Ability to drive projects with internal and external service providers
Capable understanding of performance marketing and user acquisition practises.
Extensive understanding of the game development process across PC and Mobile.
Territory and EMEA/WW marketing experience
Previous experience with mobile gaming is highly desirable
Third party publisher and licensing experience valued.
Event direction experience – including fan conventions and eSports is highly desirable.
Ability to interact at all levels of the organisation
Creative thinking, appreciation and abilities.


Desired Qualities:

Second language as Mandarin is an advantage.
