Jagex Games Studio is looking to recruit a Learning & Development Specialist to join the tribe.


The successful candidate will work across and support Jagex in all aspects of learning and people development across all functions of the business; analysing needs, designing and delivering high impact, engaging learning interventions. They will be familiar with the design and delivery of L&D interventions as well as experience of translating a L&D strategy.

They will have the confidence to deliver solutions to senior management and will be able to come up with engaging and blended initiatives & content. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt their approach to a specific audience and have a strong multi-faceted communication style.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify the development needs of the organisation through key stakeholder management using a pure consultative approach
Design and deliver innovative training solutions across the business that are aligned with individual and business needs, identified through relevant learning objectives
Work with managers, stakeholders and individuals to provide timely learning experiences for both behavioural and technical knowledge/skills in line with business needs
Analyse L&D requirements and needs to develop, deliver and evaluate learning experiences to drive professional development and improvement of business capabilities
Maintain smooth running of the company's L&D offerings across the organisation such as the Skills Development offering, Management Development program as well as other coaching and mentoring platforms
Support career development activities for all staff across the business through frameworks, competency mapping, career coaching and the design of supporting resources
Design and deliver management development programs, initiatives and resources
Co-ordinate and work with external training brokers and suppliers to manage specialist training requests
Regularly review existing training material for relevance and fit
Carry out supporting administration to ensure smooth delivery (e.g. ordering required stationery, sending joining instructions, liaising with scheduling, tracking attendance)


Essential Requirements:

Recognised training qualification or the willingness to work towards one
Experienced facilitator of learning in both large and small groups as well as one-to-one basis
Proven experience of designing and delivering soft skills and management development training
Extensive and up to date knowledge of current L&D theory and the application of different methods, including blended learning 
Strong project management skills, self-directed project work, organisation and planning skills 
Ability to work within multiple project teams, engage with a variety of stakeholders and prioritise across all disciplines of L&D
Excellent communication and organisational skills; captivating, dynamic and engaging in style
Flexible approach to cope with a fast changing environment
Ability to ‘think outside the box’, solve problems with a can-do attitude
Good team player; able to build strong internal and external relationships
Strong negotiation / influencing skills
Flexibility and highly autonomous, taking personal responsibility for actions and deliverables 
Creative and able to bring flare and enthusiasm to each and every learning event
To promote a culture of continuous learning and development
