Jagex Games Studio looking for a talented and passionate Concept Artist to join the tribe to work on a new, unannounced MMO.
This is a great opportunity for a Concept Artist looking for a varied and challenging role within a tight-knit team in which they would be working closely with our Lead Artist and Lead Designer in order to help shape the vision of the game.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Creating concept art for characters, environments, objects to various levels of finish and time constraints.
Creating illustrations for key frames, box art and other marketing purposes.
Iterate on ideas using quick sketches and thumbnails.
Speed paintings of composition, mood.
Environment design - Ability to create inspirational environments in an array of styles, always with close attention to composition, lighting and perspective.
Architecture – Strong understanding of the layout and special proportions a range of buildings, both realistic and imaginary. A good knowledge of architectural styles would be advantageous.
Character design – Creative, unique and interesting characters in a range of styles.
Work with the Lead Artist and Art Team to create and maintain high quality visual designs.
Collaborate with the design team to solve problems where art and design meet.
Experience working as concept artist in the games industry.
Fluent with Photoshop, and a high capacity to learn new tools.
Strong art background in traditional art skills. Good sense of light, form, tone, palette.
Strong sense of design and composition and a good eye for detail and scale.
Rapid sketching and storyboarding skills.
Good communication ability to receive and provide clear feedback.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Passion for game development.
A good knowledge of the fantasy genre.
Experience using 3d programs, such as Maya.
Experience of game engines, such as Unity.
Experience of playing MMOs.
