Jagex Games Studio is looking for a talented and driven Lead Gameplay Programmer to join the tribe to work on an unannounced new MMO.
The successful candidate will be part of the core team that’s developing an innovative new MMO and be responsible for turning the designs of game’s various systems and features into reality.
We are looking for interesting and creative people who revel in solving unique and interesting problems daily to join us, with successful candidates being proficient in all aspects of programming and also able to code in a succinct manner.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing and leading the development team
Building the key systems for the game
Providing feedback and guidance to the other developers
Multiple years’ experience as a developer at a non-indie game studio
Shipped two+ non-indie games
Currently either senior or lead programmer at a game studio with a focus on gameplay rather than infrastructure
Very strong Unity and C# skills
Experience of code review and best practice systems
Line management experience
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Good experience of client-server communication and protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP and HTTP
Understanding of artificial intelligence techniques
