Jagex Games Studio is looking for a highly creative and driven Senior Game Systems Designer to join the tribe to work on a Free to Play unannounced, new MMO.
You would be working as part of the core team that’s developing an innovative new MMO and be expected to see designs through from inception to realisation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Own multiple features and gameplay elements of the game
Create designs and then see them through production and live operations to highest quality
Collaborate with the other designers, artists and programmers in the team on the features you are responsible for working on the features that you are responsible for.
Design and balance fun and engaging gameplay experiences
Communicate regular updates to discipline and team; be proactive in communicating progress and solving problems.
Experience of core systems design, and seeing designs through execution and ongoing support. You will have extensive experience balancing large sets of numbers, for unit balance, progression systems
Excellent design documentation skills, both in terms of writing and effective visualisation of your ideas
Experience working as a game designer on mid/large scale games
A very strong communicator. You will be working with people across the whole team in multiple different roles so you must be able to unambiguously communicate your ideas
The ability to take feedback and effectively iterate your work
Experience developing Free to Play game design systems
You must have played multiple MMOs
Experience as a designer in a senior role on an online title (preferably MMORPG)
Knowledge of MMORPG systems
Unity or Unreal experience
Shipped one or more non-indie titles
Experience designing and balancing game systems
Experience working in medium to large size teams
A functional knowledge of Unity
Excellent knowledge of the RPG genre
Level design experience
C# or C++
Narrative design experience
