Chimera Entertainment Gmbh is looking for a motivated Automation Engineer (f/m) for our team in Munich.

Your responsibilities:

  • Initial focus: writing automated test harnesses for both client and server engineers, usable from both an engineer’s desk and from within a Continual Release pipeline, filterable via false failure rates, code hotspots, non-deterministic test support and trending results over time.
  • Secondary focus: incremental automation of any production or testing process that require costly/frequent manual steps; bug hotspot code analysis tools; crash log aggregators, balancing tools for game designers, process efficiency metrics automation, etc.
  • Goal: early automated testing, in development, and a constant focus on incremental improvements to both our testing processes and the volume/scope of workflow automation.
  • Key to success is the ability to communicate effectively with content creators, testers and engineers to find and prioritize workflow tools.

Requirements:

  • A demonstrated ability to work closely with production teams, across the full development phase, on rapidly shifting problems.
  • Experience in performance testing, in either research or commercial settings.
  • Prior experience in game development and minimum two shipped titles is required.
  • C# / Unity  is the primary coding language.

The Ideal Candidate also Has:

  • Prior experience in shell scripts, development tools and workflow automation.
  • Prior experience in performance metrics and/or production metrics.
