GAME DESIGNER - NARRATIVE
Eidos-Montréal, a company renowned for its focus on narrative-driven games, is seeking a Game Designer who will develop narrative systems on an ambitious new project. Working under the Gameplay Director, they will work closely with the writers to enhance the player’s story experience while simplifying the narrative pipeline.
Design for our proprietary engine the various systems used by writers to convey story in the game.
Work closely with the game designers, writers, sound designers, level designers, and technical level designers to ensure the design will be both effective and efficient.
Take ownership of the systems and oversee their development throughout production.
Write clear and detailed documentation about the systems for the team.
When necessary, quickly create prototypes that writers can use to test concepts.
Experience and technical skills required:
Experience as a AAA Game Designer.
Interested in advancing in storytelling in games.
Ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically.
Ability to accept and process feedback to refine their work.
Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
Be able to communicate clearly in both French and English.
