Splash Damage is an independently-owned studio on the outskirts of London, and we're all about crafting engaging multiplayer experiences. Most recently, we've launched our multiplayer shooter Dirty Bomb on PC and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One. We’re now working on several high-profile projects on PC and console and are looking for superstars to help make them great.

The Role

We’ve got some of the most talented people in the games industry here at WarChest and we’re looking for more! As our Data Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting and extrapolating in-game data into meaningful analysis and ultimately contributing to improving our games performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast paced dynamic environment and develop your knowledge of the games industry. A strong maths, financial and/or statistical background are essential.

Responsibilities at a Glance

Retrieve and analyse raw data from diverse sources
Map out quantitative trends
Generate actionable reports
Present key metrics
Ensure data accuracy
Understand and analyse large, complex data sets that will inform decisions that drive superior performance for acquisition, activation, retention referral and revenue
Provide the Finance department with key statistics to generate revenue forecasts
Communicate with customers, competitors, partners and professional organizations to stay abreast of industry or business trends
Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public forums, or purchased reports
Analyze technology trends to identify markets for future product development or to improve monetization of existing products.
Analyze video game industry trends to identify markets for future product development or to improve monetization of existing products
Analyze competitive market strategies through analysis of competitor games, market, or share trends
Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by managers and stakeholders
Modelling and forecasting revenue generation and methods to improve KPIs, including percentage of paying users, ARPU and ARPPU
Working closely with Management, Development team, Designers, Marketing and Finance to develop and implement strategies for monetising our games
Identify opportunities to develop effective funnel dynamics, improve player engagement and customer lifetime value and then set strategy and operations to increase our player conversion rates
Monitor the daily and weekly performance of our KPIs against forecast

Essential Skills and Experience

Have a passion for maths and statistical analysis
Strong problem solving skills
Possess the aptitude to understand the business vision
Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment working on multiple projects
Be extremely driven and motivated
Advanced Excel skills and other statistical/analytical tools
Strong knowledge of Word, Project and PowerPoint
Provide Clear concise and easilably digestible information
A./B.S. or Master’s Degree in Maths, Statistics, Economics or Computer Science
Alternatively, a strong financial background and a love for games

Desirable Skills and Experience

Knowledge of the video games industry
Interest and passion for playing video games
