We’ve co-developed multiple products for the Call of Duty, Halo and Doom franchises, and we’ve launched a few of our own games as well.
Certain Affinity is looking for dedicated and passionate contract software engineers to join our engineering team. You will work with some of the best programmers, artists and designers in the industry to create fun gameplay in some of gaming’s greatest franchises.
Implement Gameplay and UI in a combination of C++, Python, and ActionScript
Collaborate with art and design teams
Contribute to a large code base, adding and improving features and performance.
Debug and troubleshoot problems in unfamiliar code through careful analysis
Proficiency in reading and writing clear and maintainable C++
Strong grasp of object oriented design principles
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Passion for making fun games
Degree in Computer Science or 1-2 yrs equivalent work experience
Familiarity and interest across many game systems including UI, gameplay, and tools
Experience in C#, Lua, ActionScript, or Python
Impressive demo / samples of previous work
This is a non-exempt contract position. This position works on site at Certain Affinity. The contractor will be paid through a third party payroll administrator.
