  • Processes: develop new/improves existing processes balancing project requirements and team impact, facilitates cross team meetings, accurately reports status, drives to improve outcomes
  • Create/maintain project procedures, facilitate meetings, produce status reports, maintain project budget and distribute project documentation and schedule
  • Establish evaluation criteria and grading mechanisms for art outsource tests, then recommend, select and approve art outsource providers for the project, in conjunction with art leads and directors
  • Establishes deals and contracts with external vendors
  • Manages the flow of communication and promotes mutually beneficial relationships with external vendors, including the provision of training modules, style guides, reference material, concept art, tools, bid packs, detailed asset specifications, briefs and project documentation as needed
  • Holds vendors accountable to meeting agreed upon deadlines and levels of quality
  • Reviews incoming work from external vendors and provide feedback in conjunction with the art leads and directors
  • Works closely with Art Directors and Leads, and through planning and communication, establishes commitment and accountability for outsourcing in the art department
  • Establish processes with which the team will use outsourced art content, including production pipelines and artist workflows, in conjunction with the Art Directors and Leads
  • Communicate in a clear, positive and professional manner with all levels of internal staff (Capcom Vancouver & worldwide) and external partners (outside Capcom) to facilitate game delivery
  • Identify and resolve conflicts between schedule, budget and design goals.  Escalate relevant issues in a timely fashion
  • Create and update information to provide ‘real-time’ visibility of internal/external development efforts
  • Scheduling, Planning & Tracking: collaborate with team leads and members to create estimates, detailed schedules and capacity plans for area(s)
  • Directly manage career/performance of 6-20 junior to senior members of game area(s) including other project managers, provides annual reviews, has hiring and performance management responsibility, coordinates with other project managers to manage project staffing


  • 5 - 8 years of experience in Project Manager role
  • Must have shipped a  AAA title or accumulated similar production experience in related industries
  • Proactively identified and resolved conflicts between schedule, staffing, technology and design objectives across the game.
  • Have set work priorities and successfully delivered against them.
  • Overseen high level project scheduling, planning and tracking based on detailed area schedules and capacity plans provided by the workgroup project managers.
  • Worked with leads and other project managers to manage dependency and schedule conflicts.
  • You are a proven team player and motivator having managed teams of a minimum of 10 direct reports
  • You can create, track and maintain comprehensive project schedules & budgets
  • You are a strong proponent for meaningful career management
