Dirty Bomb takes first person shooters back to their purest roots in a fast-paced team game that will challenge even the most competent players. It’s the latest evolution in the multiplayer gameplay that Splash Damage has become known for, and is a product of our lifelong passion for hardcore multiplayer gaming!

Splash Damage is an independently-owned studio just outside of the CDA Containment Wall around London, and we're all about crafting engaging multiplayer experiences. We're now expanding our Dirty Bomb team to take it to another level, and are looking for superstars to help us make it happen.

The Role

For our Art Producer for Dirty Bomb, we are looking for a highly organized individual with outstanding communication and project management skills. You have prior experience in game development in both art and production roles, and have a keen knowledge of how an effective game art team operates. Self-direction and follow-up skills are essential, as well as the ability to anticipate development issues and determine alternative solutions. You are passionate about game development as well as the challenge of delivering games on time and to a very high visual quality.

You will be responsible for managing Dirty Bomb’s outsourced art production day to day, as well as performing service tasks such as streamlining team communication and understanding and anticipating stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities at a Glance

Be strategic and thoughtful in all interactions with the internal and external teams and partners
Manage communications and provide feedback to artists and help maintain a strong creative relationship between external and internal art teams
Produce detailed asset production documentation for the entire art sets, gather reference, work with concept artists and provide benchmark asset from production. Apply art pipeline processes, and engine requirements to all to support the external vendors
Quality assure all incoming art assets, provide detailed feedback and approvals to the vendor. Assure the delivery of quality assets to the development team
Oversee the art asset implementation and technical aspects and functionality. Follow through with any revisions required to have assets ready for integration
Constantly and proactively seek to improve the production processes, tools and pipelines for multiple art discipline
Work closely with the Art leadership team to ensure the art quality is consistent and cohesive with the art direction and game needs

Required Skills and Experience

A passion for video games, video game development, and the video game industry
Demonstrable experience in shipping AAA games on PC or console
Exceptional interpersonal skills, as well as verbal and written communications skills
At least one title shipped in a Production role
At least one title shipped in a software development role
Possess a strong artistic skill set, a good sense of scale and proportions, materials, colour and light
Experience leading external teams
Expert understanding of production and possessing proven ability to problem-solve, schedule, communicate and monitor tasks
Experience with time estimations, assessments and prioritising

Desired Skills and Experience

High level of self-confidence with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, peers and business partners
Experience with operating a “game as a service”
Experience with Unreal Engine
Skilled in risk assessment/management
