Who we are?
Relic Entertainment, a wholly owned studio of SEGA, is the award winning RTS developer of Homeworld, Dawn of War and Company of Heroes, and we’re on the hunt for a Communications Coordinator to bring the stories of our studio, staff (Relicans), and games to life.

Who you are and what you can expect?
You have the strategic mind, creative vision, and tenacious drive to build communications programs (both external and internal) that are anything but typical. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have the discipline to move projects forward independently amidst competing priorities and deadlines.

You’re also a:

Natural wordsmith: You thrive producing and editing creative communications for print, social, and web.
Researcher: You have a knack for identifying and assessing PR opportunities with media, industry partners, and associations and take pride in staying on top of industry trends
Social media guru: You get social and could run with the task of developing and leading creative content plans for our channels and blog – and educate others as you go
Agile: The world of gaming (whether that’s connecting with Relicans or our community) is always changing and you know how to take relevant insight and apply it to our audiences
Champion of development: We want you to take your communications wizardry and apply it to designing and delivering internal coaching and advocacy programs that help us build a world-class culture
Facilitator: You’ll be our internal coordinator for recurring studio events and will know how to assist presenters in crafting their content
Team player: Creating a brand that connects with millions of players is no easy task and we need to you to be willing to step in to support the team

We’re looking for someone who has…
3+ years’ experience in a PR or Communications role
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations or Communications
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Professionalism in working with all levels of employees
Previous experience in media relations, social media, and/or community management
A passion for games and interactive entertainment

It’s a bonus if you have…
Knowledge and experience with PC games
