To help achieve this ambition, we are looking to recruit a Privacy & Security Specialist to ensure the security and integrity of customer PII captured by Dovetail Live’ – a programme operating to deliver long term value and insights into the company and its franchises via: 
  • The acquisition and segmentation of customer data
  • The building of engagement and loyalty programmes for customer retention purposes
  • Deep analytical understanding of customer behaviours within and around our game franchises
The Privacy & Security Specialist will report into Dovetail Live's Programme Manager, and be the internal subject matter expert on all privacy and security issues, as well as ensuring compliance with all appropriate regulations and laws.
 
Please note this is a fixed term contract of initially 6 months
 
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the security and integrity of customer PII (personally identifiable information) captured by the Dovetail Live system
  • Develop, maintain and advise on improvements to information security and privacy management processes
  • Champion the consumer point of view to always ensure high standards of focus on data security and privacy
  • Understand business needs and be able to advise on "best fit" solutions that work for all parties
  • Maintain thoroughly up-to-date knowledge of all relevant legal and compliance requirements to be able to give current advice to all internal teams
  • Advise internal teams on all relevant data privacy issues relating to capture and storage of customer information to ensure compliance with all appropriate regulations and laws
  • Review and analyse data security/intergrity as it relates to Dovetail Live and advise the Programme Manager on best practice, potential areas for improvement and key areas of focus
  • Be the internal subject matter expert on all privacy/security issues and tackle internal and external questions relating to both issues
  • Stay current on all relevant laws (local and international), guidelines and requirements that will affect how and where data and private information can be captured and stored
 Person Specifications:
  • CIPP qualified, ideally with a relevant degree
  • Familiarity with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Strong privacy/security experience in the gaming (or parallel) industry
  • Ability to design and communicate on complex systems to a wide audience with clarity
  • Demonstrates integrity and accountability
