During your internship expect to:
Drive go-to-market and lifecycle management strategy and execution from pre-launch, launch and post launch through the acquisition, retention, and monetization funnel
Help manage the global lifecycle of games with a local perspective
Help define product positioning, target audience, and build a brand identity for games
Work with art teams to develop marketing assets that are clear, concise, and creative
Assist all community management efforts and collaborate with other consumer facing experts
Complete an analytical project that will help you build your interests and skill sets while creating value within the business unit
Projects may include Player Analysis, Competitive Analysis, building out Social Media presence or recommending new channels that create valuable consumer awareness
Approach challenges with both a holistic and detailed approach
College junior or senior, graduating December 2016 – June 2019; or seeking a Graduate degree
Genuine interest in being involved in a consumer-focused cross functional marketing role, with a focus on mobile
Understanding of the gaming and/or mobile app space a strong plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
Superior organizational skills; results-focus with superb execution and follow-through; highly detail-oriented
Open to learning in a team environment and willing to take on responsibility for your own projects
How have past interns impacted Kabam?
Supported the planning and execution of an unannounced game’s go-to-market strategy through conducting a product analysis, competitive analysis of RPG games, and generating a campaign to utilize celebrities in endorsements.
Localized app store description of an upcoming game for China by identifying marketing nuances through translating descriptions of top-grossing RPG games in the Chinese market
Assisted the team in selecting talent for celebrity endorsements and brainstorming potential TV commercial concepts
