From the beginning of your adventure with us, you will be tasked with:
Ensuring proper operation of all networking devices in the Gameloft global network and engaging in troubleshooting and resolution of any reported network incidents
Maintaining the infrastructure while implementing necessary network configuration changes following internal network change-management procedures and policies
Propose and implement new solutions for IT requirements of the gaming platform and remote offices
Work closely with the gaming platform to insure a proper integration of network components in the SDN architecture
Script / Program tools needed for automation
Resolving functionality problems within the network
Helping to improve the existing network operational practices and procedures
Documenting technical procedures and standards, and creating and maintaining architectural diagrams
Proposing, documenting and implementing processes for monitoring, auditing, reporting, and supporting the Gameloft global network
Proactively performing network monitoring using available monitoring tools, and reporting and resolving any identified issues
Possibly, being part of the on-call 24/7 team
Experience and qualifications:
5+ years of operational experience working in a highly critical data center network environment
Mastery of layer-2 protocols (e.g. VLAN), routing protocols (e.g. BGP, IGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.), as well as of TCP/IP network stacks
Experience with Linux-based operating systems
Experience with data center networking architectures, services and protocols such as load balancing, DNS, reverse proxies, FHRP, NetFlow, OpenFlow, etc.
Experience with various programming languages (C++ / Python / Perl)
Ability to work under stress and in a 24x7x365 production environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—ability to communicate in English or French is essential
Experience with low-level network troubleshooting
Strong organizational, analytical, and project-management skills
Experience with Cisco data center networking product lines (e.g. Nexus switches, ASR routers, etc.) (an asset)
Experience with SDN networks and automation platforms (an asset)
Experience with Software Defined Networks (SDN) and network automation platforms (an asset)
Professional networking certifications (e.g. Cisco, Juniper) and/or a degree in computer engineering (an asset)
