QA Director
The Quality Assurance Director will be a key part of the team developing EVE: Valkyrie on Sony’s PSVR platform as well as on Oculus Rift and HTC’s Vive. The Director will work closely with production, content and code developers to ensure releases that exhibit a highly polished experience for our players.

This position will oversee a team of both technical and functional Quality Assurance testers and engineers who are partly integrated into and contribute to the design and development teams and partly located outside the offices. The Quality Assurance Director will be expected to enhance the current QA systems and implement new systems.

Responsibilities include:

-Oversee internal and external QA teams to ensure the teams are communicating and allocating tasks as effectively as possible.
-Apply effective methodologies and best practices to help ensure the highest possible quality with maximum efficiency.
-Enhance the current QA systems and implement new systems and processes as required.
-Identify improvements in the test process and determine appropriate test strategies.
-Develop internal QA teams and methodologies for evaluating game quality.
-Report status to producers and senior managers and identify risks in a structural manner in terms of quality and project deadlines.
-Make and execute test plans.
-Work with QA Leadership to maintain an environment focused on mentorship, coaching and career progression.

Required Experience/Skills:

-A background in rigorous software quality assurance.
-Minimum of 8 years’ experience in QA.
-Minimum of 3 years’ in a leadership position.
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
-QA or/and Engineering experience in the gaming industry.
-Strong analytical skills.
-Passionate about games and motivated to deliver a high-quality player experience.

Desired Experience/Skills:

-Experience managing remote test efforts.
-Experience in Virtual Reality a plus.
