Sumo Digital is one of the UK's most prolific and secure independent game developers with a talented team of over 230 staff currently based in Sheffield and with a second UK studio now open in Nottingham where we have a number of exciting opportunities.
Since our inception in 2003 we have had a had a string of successful titles across all gaming platforms for partners that include Microsoft, SEGA, Sony, Disney and many more.
Our most recent successes include Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360), LittleBigPlanet 3 (PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3) and Disney Infinity 3.0 Toy Box Speedway (multi-platform). We are also incredibly proud to be working on the highly anticipated Crackdown 3 (Xbox One) and Dead Island 2 (multi-platform) plus several other exciting but yet unannounced projects.
Role and Purpose
We are delighted to announce several opportunities for talented graduates to take up 12 month Art internships at our Sheffield and newly opened Nottingham studios.
We are seeking exceptional graduates who have the raw talent, potential and burning desire to become the great Game Artists of the next generation.
An internship at Sumo offers an incredible opportunity to work on and contribute some of the most exciting and high profile games currently being developed in the UK. We value highly the contribution that extraordinary, graduate talent can bring to our studio and in return offer a fantastic opportunity to learn from our developers while working in a game development team at the very highest level.
Internships will run for 12 months commencing in September 2016.
