Bigpoint is seeking a Monetization Director to drive and own the entire strategy, planning, execution, and analysis related to monetization for all our new games in development.
The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in the F2P game genre and will have an absurd amount of knowledge for game pillars, designs and monetization analysis in the gaming industry. The goal is to help create better feature systems that should function to drive value add to the player resulting in revenue.
Working closely with Project Design teams, Product Marketing teams and our Business Intelligence team, this role will have you own the monetization vision in its entirety, you guide the road map and lay out the plans to the development teams to get it done at a high quality bar and in a timely fashion.
- Overseeing the product and monetization strategy across the new games portfolio
- Work with each Project Lead to provide guidance and feedback for the Project Managers
- Ensure the product vision holds strong business potential with each team
- Guiding the handoff from the new game department to the live game department
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management in consumer mobile or game development is preferred but not required
- BA/BS degree, MBA preferred
- Ability to create wire-frames, product specifications and white papers Experience with a mobile company managing dynamic applications and multivariate testing
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a small team ndash; including those who do not directly report to you
- Exceptional data analysis and problem solving skills. SQL querying abilities is a strong plus
- Strong project management skills and ability to present work to executive staff
- Strong passion for games, creating fun, compelling and addictive user experiences
- Outstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals and give insight on industry and competitor trends
- Past experience in managing teams is a strong plus
