Job Summary:

The Ubisoft Quebec team is looking for a dynamic, creative, collaborative, eager to learn person to help in creating game sequences for one of its main franchises!

In this position, you will have to imagine and create fun game sequences while offering innovative challenges to players. You will also have to collaborate with different trades such as designers, programmers, artists, animators and many others to create immersive, outstanding and unforgettable game sequences for the player.

The main and standard functions of this position are:

Build an immersive world through the global vision of the creative director and the world director.
Create a paper version of one part of the world in order to make it unique and interesting.
Make prototypes of the environment with a 3D software and a game editor.
Communicate the prototype’s results to people in other fields of work, in order to approve the intentions and evaluate the technical practicability (from the Design Technical Director) and the quality (from the Design and Artistic Level Directors).
Work in synergy with Level Artists to make sure that the level’s playability and its graphical aspects are reinforcing one another.
As the project is moving forward, gradually integrate elements that are produced in your map (new gameplay, IA, navigation, sound, etc.)
Perform any other related tasks.

You get a head start if:

You have minimum 7 years experience in the video game industry
Worked on 2 AAA projects .
You have background knowledge in arts, programming, interior design or architecture.
