RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement robust gameplay mechanics (combat, interaction, progression, abilities) using C++ and Blueprints;
- Build fully functional UIs with UMG that connect seamlessly to gameplay logic (HUDs, menus, shops, popups, dialogs);
- Collaborate with Game Designers to translate feature specs into modular, reusable gameplay systems;
- Work with UI/UX Designers to bring wireframes and concepts to life with smooth transitions, animations, and input flow;
- Maintain clean and scalable codebases - contribute to refactoring, debugging, and performance optimization;
- Take ownership of assigned gameplay/UI features and follow them through the delivery and polish phases.
QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of experience with Unreal Engine;
- Strong in both C++ and Blueprints, with the ability to switch between them as needed;
- Proficient with UMG UI creation, including widgets, animations, bindings, and input handling/mapping for multiple platforms;
- Good understanding of gameplay programming patterns: state machines, event-driven architecture, modular components;
- Ability to self-manage small to mid-sized tasks and take responsibility for feature delivery;
- Experience with version control tools (Git, Perforce) and collaborative development;
- English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher.
Will be a plus: - Slate UI Framework proficiency;
- Experience working on multiplayer or networked UI/gameplay features;
- Familiarity with GAS (Gameplay Ability System) or AI behaviour trees;
- Exposure to profiling tools like Unreal Insights or memory profilers.
