The Accounting Lead is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, statutory reporting, audits, tax coordination, internal controls, and team leadership while partnering with business stakeholders and Group Finance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Intercompany accounting activities.
- Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
- Review reconciliations and financial statements.
- Lead tax filings, audits and statutory reporting.
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance.
- Drive process improvements, ERP optimization and automation.
- Lead and develop accounting team members.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and business partnering activities.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent preferred.
- Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required.
- 7-10 years of accounting experience in multinational companies.
- Experience leading accounting teams and audit engagements.
- Strong IFRS/local GAAP knowledge and ERP experience.
