Triternion is looking for a Lead Animator to join the team and work in our Slovenia studio. This is a fantastic opportunity for an animator looking for a varied and challenging role that encourages creative input and teamwork. The successful applicant will join an experienced team of animators to work on a brand new PC & Console title.
Responsibilities:
- Managing members of the animation team to provide direction, mentorship and feedback on animation work
- Create, develop, and refine high quality 3D animations across human characters and creatures.
- Taking an animation all the way from creation to the game engine.
- Work closely with the graphics team and production staff to ensure that animation assets are delivered in a timely manner and to a high level of quality.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in animation.
- Proven keyframe expertise and practiced skills
- An eye for animation principals and detail, helping to bring smooth, dynamic and reactive animations to the game.
- Good knowledge of animation implementation (blend trees, state machines etc) in UE, Unity or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and an inspiring strong work ethic
- Excellent written and spoken English
Pluses:
- Experience managing internal and/or external animators
- Experience working with melee combat specific animations
- Experience working with Unreal Engine
- Experience with rigging and skinning for characters and weapons
