As part of the Steer studios team, you will work alongside the best global gaming talents who have relocated to Riyadh to be part of the ambitious group, and innovative, passionate and hardworking Saudis.
Steer Studios is seeking an Economy Designer with a passion for various genres of games and a drive for storytelling. S/he would be working with the game team and creating the game design, game prototypes, defining game mechanics, and coordinating with other teams to get the game design executed into a high-quality product.
Your responsabilites:
- Design and balance the game economy in our games.
- Create simulations and models to test, balance, and optimize games economies, keeping in mind the target audience and various player's profiles, as well as update them to accommodate with emerging best practices.
- Create detailed balance sheets, charts and reports to analyze and improve the game's economy.
- Analyze players data to compare it to simulations and identify areas of improvement.
- Understand the game KPIs to optimize the game balance.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of economy systems and features.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market research, and competitive landscape to identify areas of improvement.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Economy design on Mobile, with at least one game released on the market.
- Strong understanding of the F2P market.
- Ability to create, balance and optimize complex economy simulations.
- Advanced understanding of Excel, as well as a good math/statistics background.
- Understanding of player psychology and behavior.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Passion for video games.
