ABOUT THE POSITION
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the production team with the day-to-day running of projects, as well as internal and external communication throughout the game development process, ensuring the highest quality product is delivered to the agreed schedule.
- Engage with department leads and the development team to define project requirements, resource needs, and establish/track task schedules.
- Assist the coordination of team activities to ensure that project tasks are prioritised and completed according to established roadmaps.
- Support with setting project goals/tasks and associated milestones, with consideration of project scope and constraints.
- Provide ongoing ad hoc support to the Senior Producer, who will be managing multiple projects.
- Collaborate with development teams to assist in removing blockers during production.
- Generate reports and documents needed to keep visibility on key aspects of the project.
- Ensure timely delivery of assets and milestones and participate in review meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS - Outstanding interpersonal skills, utilizing fluent oral and written communication (English).
- Strong leadership skills with ability to drive various functions through the whole development process.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall and Agile).
- Passion for discovering tools and technologies involved in production of Video Games.
- Creative and pragmatic, with the ability to find the best solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure project development.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly and possess high levels of self-motivation.
- A keen eye for detail with high standards of work and a commitment to the development process.
- Ability/experience regarding stakeholder management to enable effective and frequent communication with developers, artists, management and clients.
- Knowledge/interest in software development processes, project management, and risk mitigation.
- Proactive and positive attitude with the willingness to support the team and project.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills to deliver quality projects within tight deadlines.
Advantageous Skills - Understanding of PC & console games.
- Familiarity with game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
