ABOUT THE POSITION

RESPONSIBILITIES

Level Art Creation

  • Create high-quality game environments that align with the project's art style and quality standards
  • Support level building from blockout to final polish
  • Work closely with Level Designers to ensure strong visual storytelling and player flow
  • Assist in world-building and environment layout for immersive gameplay experiences


Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Tech Art, and Production
  • Implement feedback efficiently and ensure alignment with the overall artistic vision
  • Proactively suggest visual improvements to enhance quality and readability


Technical & Execution

  • Use industry-standard tools and workflows to build and optimize environments
  • Troubleshoot visual or performance-related issues when needed
  • Maintain consistency across environments and assets


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years experience in environment/level art within games industry
  • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and environment storytelling
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine (or equivalent) and industry tools such as Maya, Blender, and the Substance suite.
  • Experience with procedural world-building tools (e.g., Houdini, World Machine, Gaea).
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
