Are you an experienced Technical Producer with strong live‑service delivery expertise, cross‑disciplinary leadership skills, and a systems‑driven approach to game production?

This role highlights a highly experienced producer with a proven track record delivering large‑scale live‑service content across art, animation, engineering and design on AAA titles. With a strong preference for technically focused production, this profile reflects someone who brings clarity, structure and momentum to complex, multi‑team environments, consistently turning delayed projects into predictable, on‑time delivery.

About the role

This producer specialises in technical and content production for live‑service games, with deep experience supporting engine, rendering, networking and content teams. They excel at stabilising delivery, building clear production processes, aligning teams around realistic scope, and maintaining forward momentum during high‑pressure production phases. While not engine‑tool specific, they bring strong technical literacy and focus on outcomes rather than tooling debates.

What you’ll do

  • Run live‑service content delivery across art, animation, engineering and design
  • Take over delayed projects and re‑establish realistic schedules and delivery confidence
  • Build and maintain strong production structure, planning and delivery processes
  • Embed closely with technical teams to support engine, rendering and network development
  • Coordinate engineering, QA and content teams through agile production
  • Maintain clarity on scope, dependencies and team capacity
  • Support hiring, performance management and team leadership when required
  • Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders during complex or uncertain periods

What we’re looking for

Experience

  • 7+ years of professional experience in game production
  • Strong background in live‑service game development
  • Experience producing AAA titles across multiple disciplines
  • Hands‑on experience working with engine and core technology teams
  • Previous people management experience across engineering, design and animation
  • Experience inheriting and stabilising projects behind schedule

Skills

  • Strong technical production mindset and systems thinking
  • Ability to work effectively without deep reliance on specific tools or engines
  • Excellent planning, structure and delivery discipline
  • Confident communicator who asks the right questions
  • Strong ownership mentality with a focus on shipping
  • Comfortable coordinating large teams (20+ people)
  • Agile production experience

Nice to have

  • Experience producing technically complex or proprietary‑engine projects
  • Live‑service content roadmap ownership
  • Experience supporting unreleased or pre‑launch AAA titles
  • Comfort working fully remote in distributed teams

Working style / behaviours

  • Process‑driven but pragmatic
  • Calm under pressure and delivery‑focused
  • Comfortable stepping into ambiguous or chaotic situations
  • Values clarity, realism and follow‑through
  • Prefers technical problem‑solving environments
  • Collaborative, direct and transparent

Why join

  • Proven capability turning delayed projects into predictable delivery
  • Strong balance of technical insight and people leadership
  • Fully remote working model
  • Stable availability with low risk of short‑term churn
  • Experience across live‑service, engine teams and content delivery

If you’re a technically minded game producer who thrives in complex, cross‑disciplinary environments and focuses on getting games shipped, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now, or email Jack Baxter - jb@skillsearc.com
