Are you an experienced Senior Product Manager with expertise in live operations, monetisation strategy and free‑to‑play mobile games?
This is a high‑impact contract opportunity to join the team behind one of the world’s most successful mobile games, helping drive player engagement, retention and revenue growth through data‑driven Live Ops and monetisation initiatives. You’ll work at the heart of a live service operation, owning key areas of the game experience and influencing how millions of players engage with the product every day.
About the role
You will join a dedicated Live Operations team, owning strategic initiatives that balance commercial performance with exceptional player experience. Working closely with designers, analysts, developers and other stakeholders, you’ll define roadmaps, launch experiments and optimise live features that drive both engagement and monetisation.
This role requires a highly analytical product leader who understands what makes live‑service games successful and can translate player insights, market trends and performance data into measurable business impact.
What you'll do
- Own key areas of live operations and monetisation strategy within a globally recognised mobile game
- Define product roadmaps and operational plans aligned with broader game objectives
- Develop and execute engagement, retention and revenue growth initiatives
- Design, launch and evaluate A/B tests and multivariate experiments
- Analyse player behaviour, game performance and monetisation metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to bring new initiatives from concept to launch
- Translate player feedback, data and competitive insights into actionable product improvements
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, delivering both strategic recommendations and detailed analysis
- Identify and implement best‑in‑class Live Ops, event and monetisation practices from across the F2P market
- Continuously optimise systems, offers and player experiences to improve long‑term outcomes
What we're looking for
Experience
- 6+ years of Product Management experience in free‑to‑play mobile games
- Proven experience managing Live Operations, engagement or monetisation systems
- Strong understanding of mobile game economies, progression systems and player lifecycle management
- Track record of delivering measurable growth in live‑service environments
Skills
- Deep knowledge of F2P engagement and monetisation mechanics
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with a data‑driven mindset
- Experience designing and analysing A/B tests and experimentation frameworks
- Ability to define KPIs, success metrics and performance targets
- Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Strategic thinking combined with a hands‑on execution mindset
- Ability to balance player experience with commercial objectives
Nice to have
- Experience operating large‑scale global live games
- Expertise in event design, season systems or in‑game economies
- Strong understanding of competitor trends within the mobile gaming market
- Experience working within high‑performing product organisations
