Are you an experienced Cloud Automation Engineer with strong expertise in multi‑cloud infrastructure, orchestration and scalable cloud operations?
This is a contract opportunity to join a small, high‑impact cloud team supporting a multi‑cloud environment across AWS, Google Cloud and Tencent Cloud. You’ll help design and automate cloud account management and orchestration systems that enable teams to operate securely, efficiently and at scale.
About the role
You will work with a central cloud engineering team responsible for building and maintaining the foundation of a multi‑cloud ecosystem. Your focus will be on automation, orchestration and enabling internal teams to use cloud services safely and effectively with minimal friction. This role blends infrastructure engineering, tooling and platform thinking to support a wide range of development teams.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement cloud account automation and orchestration systems
- Support multi‑cloud environments across AWS, Google Cloud and Tencent Cloud
- Build tooling to improve cloud usage, scalability and operational efficiency
- Automate provisioning, configuration and governance processes
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enable secure and efficient cloud adoption
- Improve workflows for cloud account lifecycle management and access control
- Contribute to best practices for cloud security, cost optimisation and performance
What we’re looking for
Experience
- Proven experience working with cloud infrastructure in production environments
- Experience supporting or operating multi‑cloud systems
- Background in infrastructure automation and orchestration
Skills
- Strong expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP or similar)
- Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code and automation tools
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security and identity management
- Experience designing scalable, reusable cloud solutions
- Strong scripting or programming skills
- Clear communication and collaboration across engineering teams
Nice to have
- Experience working with Tencent Cloud
- Experience supporting game development or live‑service environments
- Familiarity with cost optimisation strategies and cloud governance models
- Experience building internal developer platforms or tooling
