What you'll be doing:
- Building and expanding a global pipeline of high-end VFX opportunities through strong relationships with studios, networks, streamers, and major production houses.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with executive producers, directors, VFX supervisors, and production executives to secure new projects and long-term partnerships.
- Acting as a strategic ambassador for the organisation, championing its creative and technical capabilities to attract flagship clients and projects.
- Developing and executing a global business expansion strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and strengthens its position within the international VFX market.
- Collaborating with leadership teams to align business goals with production capabilities and delivery strategies.
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities in new markets, client segments, and strategic partnerships to fuel growth.
- Leveraging your industry reputation and network to gain access to key decision-makers and upstream project discussions.
- Working with senior clients to understand their needs, develop pitch strategies, and craft compelling proposals that demonstrate creative and technical excellence.
- Representing the organisation at major industry events, panels, and festivals to elevate its global profile and brand recognition.
- Providing market insights and strategic recommendations to the board and executive team, supporting informed decision-making.
- Collaborating with finance and strategy teams to evaluate partnership opportunities, ROI, and long-term business value.
What we're looking for:
- 20–25 years of experience in business development, strategy, or senior client-facing roles within the VFX or film and TV production sectors.
- A strong global network across studios, streamers, and high-end content creators, particularly within the US and international VFX markets.
- Proven ability to build and close major creative and commercial partnerships, including service agreements, co-productions, or strategic alliances.
- Recognised as a trusted industry connector with strong access to executive and show-level decision-makers.
- Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and markets.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently across time zones as required.
